Lumio is built FERPA-compliant from the ground up. Student data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Row-level security guarantees that students see only their own data, parents see only their own children, and teachers see only their own classes. We do not sell personal data. We do not use student data to train third-party AI models. School-tier accounts disable advertising entirely so no ads are shown to students during instructional time.
